Equipped with KO’s New AGR (Active Grip Response) Technology

During cornering, the servo itself detects the car’s behavior in real time and works to reduce understeer. By making the most of the available front-tire grip, AGR delivers more stable and controlled cornering.
Even on circuits where grip is limited, AGR helps stabilize the car’s behavior through corners and effectively brings out the grip of the front tires. By reducing understeer while cornering, it enables smoother, more stable cornering and gives you greater control over the car.
This next-generation steering servo takes both driving stability and cornering performance to a whole new level.
Please note that this function may provide limited benefits on extremely high-grip circuits.

Cornering Performance That Lives Up to the “Grasper” Name
The signature “grasping the road” cornering performance that defines the Grasper series has been carried over to the BSx5A-one10 Grasper3.
As RC cars continue to evolve and their performance limits are pushed higher than ever, steering servos are expected to deliver greater holding power and superior cornering performance. Grasper3 inherits the Grasper series’ signature steering feel—firmly gripping the road surface—along with its powerful holding power, allowing you to fully unlock the potential of high-performance machines.
Even through the corners, Grasper3 provides a reassuring sense of stability, keeping the front tires firmly planted on the road. This delivers strong, tenacious cornering performance that stays true to your intended racing line.
The “grasping the road” performance that defines the Grasper name is alive and well in Grasper3.
Experience the exceptional cornering performance that only Grasper can deliver—ready to meet the demands of today’s latest high-end RC machines.
What is holding power
The holding force is the force that the servo shaft tries to hold a position. Grasper has meanings such as "grasping tightly" and "grasping firmly", and is a name that expresses the characteristics of this servo that firmly captures the road surface.
Torque increased by 20% compared to conventional models
The previous BSx4S-one10 Grasper2 delivered 16.0 kgf·cm of torque at 7.4V. The new Grasper3 increases this to an impressive 20.3 kgf·cm, achieving approximately a 20% increase in torque over its predecessor.
Serial Communication Support
Like the “4S” series, Grasper3 also supports serial communication. By using serial communication, you can take advantage of the following benefits:

(1) Ultra-high-speed communication dramatically improves response.
The PWM method is the mainstream control method for RC servos. In the PWM method, the angle is specified by the width of the signal transmitted from the receiver. On the other hand, in serial communication, the servo angle can be specified numerically. In serial communication, the communication interval can be significantly shortened compared to the PWM method, and the interval from command to operation is greatly reduced. By combining with EX-NEXT's XT mode, we have achieved an unprecedented ultra-fast response as if you were just touching the machine.
(2) Servo parameters can be changed from the radio at hand
By combining the EX-NEXT with a compatible receiver such as the KR-420XT / KR-242XT, and connecting the Grasper3 to the receiver’s B/S port, REAL TIME ICS becomes available. With REAL TIME ICS, you can set and adjust the servo’s various parameters directly from the transmitter without having to bring the car back to you. This allows you to fine-tune the servo while checking the car’s actual feel on track, making it possible to achieve more precise settings to suit track conditions and the characteristics of your car.
*When using serial communication, connect the servo to the B/S port of a compatible receiver.
Compatible with conventional systems (PWM)
Grasper3 can also be used in Normal Mode, which is compatible with a wide range of models. Normal Mode is the conventional system that has been used for servos and ESCs for many years, and is compatible with a wide range of receivers.
The available modes vary depending on your transmitter and receiver. Please refer to the table below for details.

*HCS Mode is not supported.
Serial / normal mode switching method.
The servo automatically switches depending on the port connected to the receiver and the mode setting. No additional options are required for mode setting. If you want to use it serially, connect it to the B / S port of KR-420XT / KR-242XT. Also, when using with HCS, it can be used simply by connecting to channels 1 to 4 set in HCS. The same applies to normal mode. Of course, it can also be used with the KR-418FH and other receivers that have been released so far.
*KR-420XT / KR-242XT can be used for serial mode. For conventional receivers, use normal mode.A Newly Designed Aluminum Top Case, Built for Grasper3
The aluminum top case provides the rigidity needed to support Grasper3’s unwavering holding power.
After anodizing, the case undergoes additional precision machining to create a sharp, angular profile with crisp, defined edges. The inner walls are also machined down to the minimum thickness possible, reducing weight while maintaining sufficient strength.

Easy-to-manage black servo wire
Commitment extends to servo leads. The black cable, which looks tight, has the optimum softness for handling while ensuring the required current capacity.

By changing bottom case "Reverse lead bottom case (for Grasper2)"(sold separately) of "BSx4s-one10 Grasper2" can be reversing the lead wire out direction, wiring such as touring cars can be neatly organized. Due to the heat sink effect, the heat of the FET can be efficiently dissipated.
*The servo shown in the image is the Grasper2, but the same application applies to Grasper3.
LCD Xpansion unit 2 Parameters can be changed from EXP-201

You can connect a servo to the Xpansion and set the characteristics to your liking by operating the Xpansion buttons. Compatible servos are all models equipped with ICS. Of course, it also supports Grasper3.
* A separate power supply (6 to 7.4V) and twin extension wire cord are required. * This product does not support parameter changes by the servo manager connected to a PC.

Please be careful
There may be slight vibration under no load, but this is not a malfunction. This servo sets the parameters to optimize the driving condition. Therefore, when viewed with the servo alone, the output shaft may generate slight vibrations or drive noise, but this is not an abnormality and does not interfere with operation.
