  • Reasonable Speed Controller for small motor

    MD-1 is an ESC (Electric Speed Controller) for small motors. It can be used for small motors that are  370 types or smaller.
    Also, it is small and light weight with a flat design that is useful for use with RC car and working kit. Easily installed with double sided tape.

    Neutral brake type is useful for Robots and craft kits.

    MD-1 has 3 types lineups. "RC CAR ESC TYPE” has brake and reverse that is same as General RC ESC.
    “Quick Reverse” is recommended for low speed RC car. This is simple operation with forward and reverse. And “Neutral Brake Type” is recommended for Robot or model with caterpillar.

    Operation of “RC car ESC Type” is same as ESC for General RC car. If you do operate reverse operation after forward, first it work  brake. If you want to use the reverse function, it need once back to neutral position and reverse operation.  
    “Quick reverse Type” need no operation before reverse function. Every time, you can operate to direction for you need. In the Neutral position, it has small brake, but it is too small for stop the faster car. So, It is recommend for not faster car. Also a beginner using RC car will be easily understand operation. “Neutral brake type” has brake at neutral position. So, it recommend for models use caterpillar as like the Tank.

    Use for robots and electronic craft kits.​

    MD-1 can be used with 370 type brushed motors. MD-1 does not have a power circuit like a general ESC, so please use No.26014.

    Control Buzzer or LED​

    MD-1 can also be used as a driver for LED or a Buzzer. You can change the wire by removing the protected transparent tube.
    This design is with a large PAD for easy soldering, but if you feel this is difficult work please work with someone who has experience at soldering.

    Example 1 Light on and off LED

    Install LED and current limit resistor to the motor pad of the MD-1. When connected to CH-E or CH-F of the MR-8, you can turn on/off the LED by operating the CH-E or CH-F of the MC-8.

    Example 2  Ring an electric buzzer

    Connect the electric buzzer to the motor pad of the MD-1. When connected to CH-E or CH-F of the MR-8, you can ring the buzzer by operating CH-E or CH-F of the MC-8. The buzzer is limited to electronic buzzers that operate only when voltage is applied.
    Please notice, you can not use a speaker or Piezoelectric buzzer.


    Notice when using a lithium battery.​

    MD-1 does not have a voltage protection circuit lipo cut off because the MD-1 can operate within a wide range of voltage (3-6.6V).
    If you are using a lithium battery like a LIPO or LIFE, please observe the low voltage due to motor load.
    We recommend following the recommended voltage and motor specifications before use.
